The planning application for 450 houses on ‘Land south of Knowle’, which is the southern part of the Arden Triangle site, was deferred at Planning Committee last night ( 2nd April). This was to allow the Council to seek legal advice on the way it should consider settlements such as Knowle when undertaking Green Belt and ‘grey belt’ assessments. This could have significant implications for future development around KDBH.
We will keep you informed as to when the application will next be considered by the Planning Committee.
In the meantime we intend to continue to press the developers to address other matters raised in our representations to the Council.
