During 2024, good progress was made on a review and limited update to the Neighbourhood Plan to take account of various changes and amendments required since the original plan was approved some six years ago. The Forum was getting ready to go out to the formal consultation stage with residents under what is called ‘Regulation 14’. Unfortunately, as a result of the pausing and subsequent withdrawal of the Local Plan and the issue of a new National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF), the work is in abeyance.
However, in order to ensure that the policies are up to date, the Forum carried out a minor review of the Plan in January 2026. Various revisions are suggested; but these are essentially minor corrections and updated references. No examination or referendum would be necessary.
