Taylor Wimpey launches on-line consultation Details of 200 homes planned at Arden Triangle

Housing developer Taylor Wimpey has launched an on-line consultation into its ideas for 200 homes at the Arden Triangle in Knowle.

The plans, for an area to be called “Cuttlebrook Grange”, include 40% affordable housing, open space and play areas.

Taylor Wimpey would like to hear residents’ thoughts on the proposals “to ensure they can be addressed as part of the scheme”.  A planning application covering the details will then be submitted to Solihull Council in Spring 2026.

The consultation is open now and runs until midnight on Wednesday 25 March 2026: Cuttlebrook Grange ‧ Proposed new homes in Solihull ‧ Taylor Wimpey

Background

This follows on from the outline permission granted last year.

Taylor Wimpey already has “outline” planning permission for up to 200 homes at the “Cuttlebrook Grange” site.  This was granted by Solihull Council in December 2025 (subject to a legal agreement).  The plans approved showed details of the access, but it was intended that other matters would be addressed later.  These matters include details of the layout, scale, appearance and landscaping of the development.  It is expected that Tayor Wimpey’s detailed planning application will cover all these points.
