A huge thank you to everyone who visited our stand at the recent Knowle Time Machine Festival and Dorridge Day events.  It was really exciting to chat to so many people wanting to catch up on what we've been up to since our last 'face to face' get together nearly two years ago.  So exciting, in fact, that we forgot to take any photos! - many thanks to Visit Knowle for the above memento.

A particular interest for visitors was progress on Independent Examination of the Council's Local Plan (read more Here) and how proposed developments at the Hampton Road and the 'Arden Triangle' sites could affect the future of our community and village life.  Our posters for these events (see below) focused on highlighting important points to note, with the overview maps of site layouts proving particularly popular.

We were encouraged, too, by the positive feedback on our recent initiative to develop a KDBH Community Groups Listing and Events Calendar as a way of helping to promote local clubs as they emerge post pandemic.  There is, of course, still much we want to do on this when time and resource allows once the current focus on Local Plan activities subsides.
